WELCOME!
We are a very small "family oriented/hobby breeder" of quality Miniature Australian Shepherds. Like many fanciers of this breed we started with one, then two, and well, here we are. Initially, we knew we wanted a herding breed because they are known for their loyalty, intelligence, drive, and desire to please. We loved the Australian Shepherd breed the most, and became "hooked" when we learned that they came in a smaller package, more suited to our family. The smaller size has it's benefits, such as; more room in the car, much easier for children to handle, quicker to blow dry, in-laws allow them to visit, they fit in your lap, and you can get at least four on the bed!
Although this breed is highly addictive, we only keep enough dogs that we feel we can give the most attention to. Our dogs are only kennelled when necessary (traveling, dog shows, heat cycles etc.), otherwise they freely roam our house and fenced yard and sleep in our children's bedrooms at night. Our focus on breeding is primarily to provide families with healthy, well socialized pets/performance dogs. We do show our dogs and have earned titles, but our passion with our dogs lies in competing in performance events such as agility, fly ball, herding, disc etc. which requires breeding for intelligence, athletic ability, and correct temperament. We do health and temperament testing on all of our dogs and sell them with a full 3 year genetic health guarantee/non breeding contract. We want to ensure that every puppy we sell goes to a good home and is loved and cherished as much as our own dogs are. Please enjoy browsing the rest of our site!
